Contractor Training

All contractors working in “Permit Required Confined Spaces” must be OSHA certified to do so.

Contracted Standby Rescue Teams are getting harder to find and are expensive. Having your own personnel trained for rescue can set your company apart from the competition. The OSHA standard is “performance-based”. Our programs are tailored to the hazards and type of spaces you enter and stress pre-plans for rescue at all spaces to be entered. The equipment needed for rescue is not a “one size fits all” and is determined by the space of entry.

1910’s training programs will make your personnel certified for working in these spaces, and teach them what is required for rescuing an entrant from the space if they cannot exit on their own.

Our training ranges from the basic Entrant, Attendant, Supervisor class to High Angle Rescue. We base our training on the type of spaces you work in regularly. All classes teach students what is required in a permitting program to ensure their safety. Whether using your own plan or the plan of the industry you are providing service to, there always has to be a plan for rescue.
